Human Design versus Quantum Human Design. What is the difference between the two?
Human Design and Quantum Human Design are both systems that provide frameworks for self-discovery and personal development, but they differ in their origins, methodologies, and emphasis. Here's a breakdown of each system and their key differences:
Human Design
Where It Came From:
Created by Ra Uru Hu (Robert Allan Krakower) in 1987.
It's a mix of astrology, the I Ching, the Kabbalah, the Hindu chakra system, and quantum physics.
How It Works:
Bodygraph: This is a chart that shows your energy centers and pathways, based on your birth info.
Centers: These are like chakras and represent different parts of you (like emotional, mental, physical).
Types: There are four main types: Manifestor, Generator, Projector, and Reflector. Each type has its own way of making decisions and navigating life.
Authority: Guidance on how you should make decisions according to your inner energy.
Main Idea:
It’s about understanding your true nature and life purpose.
It gives practical advice on making decisions and living according to your unique design.
Quantum Human Design
Where It Came From:
Created by Karen Curry Parker, who is a livelong student of Human Design.
It’s an evolved version of the original Human Design system with some modifications and updates.
How It Works:
New Terminology: Uses more modern and positive language (e.g., "Manifesting Generators" instead of just "Generators").
Quantum Physics Influence: Emphasises the interconnectedness of all things and the impact of quantum physics on personal energy and development.
Focus on Empowerment: Aims to be more uplifting and less rigid than the original Human Design, focusing on growth and potential.
Main Idea:
It’s about aligning with your highest potential and authentic self.
Encourages a dynamic and evolving understanding of your energy and abilities.
Key Differences
Language and Presentation:
Human Design uses more traditional, sometimes mystical terms.
Quantum Human Design updates the language to be more modern, positive, and empowering.
Philosophical Approach:
Human Design can feel more fixed, with specific strategies based on your type.
Quantum Human Design is more about potential and growth, encouraging evolution and transformation.
Quantum Physics Emphasis:
Both acknowledge quantum principles, but Quantum Human Design places a stronger emphasis on the interconnectedness and dynamic nature of energy influenced by quantum physics.
Practical Use:
Human Design offers a more structured approach to understanding and making decisions.
Quantum Human Design promotes a more fluid and evolving path to self-discovery and personal development.
In the end, while both systems aim to help you understand yourself and live a fulfilling life, Quantum Human Design builds on the foundation of Human Design with a more empowering approach and high frequency language, bringing you into our current time of living with service and passion.
As a Quantum Design Specialist I am happy to be of service to those wishing to embark on a fuller and richer life using the tools and guidance from Karen Curry Parker.
